One is by launching the "Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)" policy to encourage the development of students' entrepreneurial intentions. This research aimed to empirically test the impact of MBKM-based entrepreneurial educational support on entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention through self-efficacy. Data was collected from 300 students of HEIs in Jakarta and Bandung. Data was processed by using PLS-SEM. The findings confirm that entrepreneurial educational support significantly and positively predicts entrepreneurial self-efficacy and intention. Moreover, the study validates that entrepreneurial self-efficacy mediates entrepreneurial educational support and intention. This research is expected to guide educators and policy-makers to understand better the factors that form the students' entrepreneurial intention, which can contribute to the growth of the Indonesian economy.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Manajemen http://www.ecojoin.org/index.php/EJM/article/view/1488 Firm Size, Market Risk, And Return Reversal Anomalies During The COVID-19 Pandemic 2023-09-01T10:49:22+07:00 Ferikawita M. Sembiring ferikawita.magdalena@lecture.unjani.ac.id
This research aims to prove whether firm size and market risk based on CAPM affect return reversal anomalies as indicators of market overreaction during the COVID-19 pandemic. This explanatory research used a sample of stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that could be profitable during the pandemic period up to the effective period of phase one and two vaccination. It was found that return reversal anomalies occurred in the short term on the IDX, and contrarian strategies resulted in profits. Factors of firm size and market risk affected the reversal of returns in specific periods but did not affect other periods. When firm size and market risk had no effect, the return reversal anomaly occurred entirely due to the investors' overreaction in response to the pandemic without regard to the size and market risk factors of companies whose stocks were the investment target.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Manajemen http://www.ecojoin.org/index.php/EJM/article/view/1638 Leader-Member Exchange, Perceived Organisational Support And Job Satisfaction: Mediating Role Of Employee Engagement 2023-10-04T11:34:32+07:00 Hazmanan Khair hazmanankhair@umsu.ac.id Jufrizen jufrizen@umsu.ac.id Nina Annisa ninaannissa@gmail.com Ratih Pratiwi rara@unwahas.ac.id Abdul Rozak abd.rozak@uinjkt.ac.id
This study examined the influence of leader-member exchange and perceived organisational support on job satisfaction, with employee engagement as a mediator, either directly or indirectly. To overcome this, the Government made arrangements through monetary and fiscal policies. This study analyses the effect of monetary and fiscal policies on Indonesia's economic growth. This research has eight obtained monetary, fiscal and other macro-economic variables, a novelty compared to the previous researcher. Based on the impulse response analysis in the Vector Error Correction Model, the highest impacted variables to maintain economic growth were the growth of income tax and capital market index, and to negatively impact were exchange money and government expenditure. Over an extended period, it shows that the increase in inflation, money exchange, number of broad-money, interest rate, and government expenditure will impact the decrease of economic growth. In contrast, the increase in government income from tax and capital market indexes will impact the increase in economic growth.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Manajemen http://www.ecojoin.org/index.php/EJM/article/view/1700 Department of Management, Faculty of Business Economics, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember 2023-09-21T17:58:21+07:00 Eko Budi Satoto ekobudisatoto@unmuhjember.ac.id
The supply chain of mining businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has declined due to the significant impact brought about by the uncertainty of an increasingly complex world economic climate. This study aims to determine the relationship between interest rates, inflation, currency exchange rates, stock returns, and firm value. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis was conducted to decipher the data in this study. The research findings show that the mining industry in Indonesia is highly influenced by macroeconomic factors, especially interest rates, inflation, and exchange rates. The negative relationship between interest rates and inflation negatively affects stock returns and firm value. Meanwhile, it increased the rupiah's value positively and significantly influenced stock returns and business value. Higher stock returns can increase the value of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
2024-02-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Manajemen http://www.ecojoin.org/index.php/EJM/article/view/1771 Online Meal Delivery In Indonesia: Factors Impacting Consumer Persuasion 2023-10-04T11:24:52+07:00 Widarto Rachbini widarto@univpancasila.ac.id Tiolina Evi tiolina@perbanas.id Harimurti Wulandjani harimurtiwulandjani@univpancasila.ac.id Suyanto suyanto.ipwija1993@gmail.com Emi Rahmawati emi.rahmawati@trunojoyo.ac.id
This study empirically examines the impact of price-savings orientation on utilitarian and hedonic app browsing, as well as the influence of utilitarian app browsing, hedonic app browsing, and social influence on consumer persuasion within the Indonesian online meal delivery app context. Primary data was collected through online questionnaires distributed via Google Forms, utilising purposive sampling criteria explicitly targeting users who had conducted transactions on these platforms. The analysis employed the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Smart PLS software, revealing significant findings. Price-savings orientation positively affected utilitarian and hedonic app browsing, while utilitarian app browsing and social influence significantly influenced consumer persuasion. Implications suggest that future online meal delivery platform development and marketing should prioritise pricing and social influence. Subsequent research should extend this framework to other digital-based business sectors, focusing on a more diverse range of productive-age respondents.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Manajemen http://www.ecojoin.org/index.php/EJM/article/view/1636 Economic And Asymmetric Information As Moderation Variables, Credit Risk And Credit Prices 2023-10-16T12:38:00+07:00 Suyanto Suyanto.ipwika1993@gmail.com Zaharuddin zaharuddin1964@yahoo.co.id Masno Marjohan dosen00124@unpam.ac.id Jeni Andriani dosen00436@unpam.ac.id
Profitability denotes a company's capacity to generate earnings within a specified timeframe. Companies that thrive and exhibit profitability are perceived as successful and typically garner favour among shareholders. This study examines profitability in the context of a company's ability to generate earnings within a specified timeframe, which is crucial for shareholder favour and business success. It focuses on the banking sector in Indonesia, encompassing 33 listed entities, with eight selected for the research sample. Employing hypothesis testing and analytical techniques, the study finds that asymmetric information and fluctuations in profitability do not affect credit pricing. Instead, credit risk positively impacts credit pricing, along with positive contributions from asymmetric information and profitability. This suggests that profitability does not hinder creditworthiness improvements. Asymmetric information does not affect credit pricing, making selling bank loans risky. Further research on credit pricing at a larger scale is warranted.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Manajemen http://www.ecojoin.org/index.php/EJM/article/view/1805 Social Media Usage On MSMEs' Performance: The Moderating Role Of Innovation Capability 2023-10-31T09:28:07+07:00 Yordan Hermawan Apidana yordanhermawan@gmail.com Dian Rusvinasari dianrusvinasari@gmail.com
This study aims to determine whether using social media such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook can improve the performance of MSMEs if innovation capability is used effectively. The research employs a quantitative approach, involving 300 respondents who are MSME owners or managers in Kebumen Regency. The analysis utilizes the Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) method to assess the seven hypotheses proposed in this study. The results indicate that social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook positively influence MSMEs' performance. Additionally, innovation capability exhibits a positive impact on MSMEs' performance. Furthermore, innovation capability moderates the connection between Instagram usage and MSMEs' performance. However, it does not exert a similar moderating effect on the relationship between TikTok and Facebook usage and MSMEs' performance. These findings offer valuable insights for MSME owners and managers, enabling them to navigate and leverage the evolving landscape of social media marketing to maintain their competitiveness and performance.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Manajemen http://www.ecojoin.org/index.php/EJM/article/view/1792 The Influence Of Financial Socialization, Overconfidence And Mental Accounting On Investment Decisions 2023-11-07T16:25:14+07:00 I Gede Adiputra gedea@fe.untar.ac.id Nur Ainun Bangun nurainunb@fe.untar.ac.id Bella Graceilla bella.115190386@stu.untar.ac.id
This study examines the effect of financial socialisation, herding, overconfidence and mental accounting on investment decisions among stock investors in Jakarta.
